Stanley Roads have erected the latest generation, low emission asphalt plant which is located in Tivoli which guarantees the highest level of flexibility in production and quality of the finished product.
• Capable of producing batches of product to suit the customers’ needs and specifications while maintaining a high level of quality.
Stanley Roads has established high performance standards for environment, health and safety.
Asphalt plant energy saving is a fundamental issue in asphalt plant operations therefore providing technical solutions with the aim of optimising energy savings is key.
• Optimising energy savings in the drying process The main factor is the amount of fuel consumed by the dryer. The specially designed ‘drying and filtering bar’, means that heat loss is reduced to a minimum and the main burner consumption is optimised.
• Optimising energy savings in bitumen heating A modern bitumen park results in high energy savings with increased and improved insulation.
• Electrical energy savings The design of the Asphalt plant and the benefits of start-stop technology has resulted in electrical energy savings.
In addition to the standard safety equipment, the Stanley Roads Asphalt plant has the following devices and solutions that provide a higher level of safety during use and maintenance:
- Safety keys with interlocking anti-access and anti-trap devices that prevent operators accessing dangerous areas of the plant, in accordance with AU Standards
- Emergency stops on all modules of the plant in order to ensure quick intervention when necessary, in accordance with AU Standards
- Training courses for operators on the use and routine maintenance on the plant.
